How much will my services cost?
Our fees are based on the specialist fee guide from the BC College of Dental Surgeons.  After your initial consultation Dr. Tymkiw will go over your treatment options and provide a recommendation. Together you will agree on a treatment plan and the costs will be explained to you. We will work with you to ensure you understand what is involved at each step and what to expect. Most importantly, we will answer your questions until you are completely confident and ready to proceed. If you have insurance we are happy to submit your insurance claim and predetermine your benefits for you. For your convenience we accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash.

Do you take insurance?
Tymkiw Peridontics is a ‘non-assignment’ office meaning that you pay us for the full cost of the treatment and then you are reimbursed directly by your insurance company. We will work tireless to help you navigate your insurance and assist you with your claim by predetermining your benefits and filing the claim on your behalf. If you have any questions regarding your insurance please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Will you do any procedures on my first visit?
Generally your first visit will involve a Comprehensive Periodontal Exam where all treatment options will be explored and explained in details. We’ll review your records, take x-rays if necessary, and Dr. Tymkiw will examine your teeth, gums, and jaws. Your treatment will typically be scheduled for another time however under certain circumstances we may be able to accommodate immediate treatment.

Do you provide sedation?
Your comfort is our priority! We offer Oral and Intravenous (IV) Sedation to make your experience comfortable and relaxed during any periodontal procedure.

NOTE: If you choose to be sedated for your procedure you will need to arrange to have someone drive you home afterward.
